Wool is both the material and the subject here, which is part of the charm for me. The sheep's white bodies rise in little tufts against the straight cotton cords. Their felt faces and small legs give those soft shapes just enough definition to become a flock.

I like how much expression fits into a few simple lines on each face. The pale round accents and different heights keep the arrangement from feeling too formal, while the cream and taupe let the wool remain the main detail. There is a fondness in such a small, recognisable creature, something I enjoy seeing treated with care.
