Woodland nursery ideas: colours, animals and room to grow
A woodland nursery can begin with a colour, an animal picture or a piece of furniture you already love. A few connected details leave room for the books, toys and favourites that will make the space their own.
Start with what is already in the room
Look at the floor, furniture and curtains before choosing another colour. Warm wood can be part of the palette. If the walls already carry a forest pattern, plain curtains and a simple rug give the animals space to be seen.
Choose one main place for the motif, such as a wall picture or a ceiling shade. Repeat a colour elsewhere instead of adding the same animal to every surface. In a shared room, this also leaves space for another person's tastes.

Use these as starting points. Put paint and fabric samples together in the room before buying; a screen cannot show an exact colour match.

Give the animals a little space
A detailed animal shade can hold the main illustration in an otherwise simple room. Against patterned wallpaper, compare the two motifs from the doorway. If neither is easy to see, choose a plainer shade or place the animal illustration against a plain background. You can carry the wallpaper's colours into plain textiles elsewhere.

Check the real size in your room
Forest Friends and Woodland Shade each come in diameters of 30 or 35 cm, with a shade height of 20 cm. Those measurements describe the shade, not the full distance from the ceiling.
Cut two paper circles, 30 and 35 cm across, and compare them on a table beside the room's furniture. A side outline 20 cm high helps you picture the depth. Then measure the intended hanging position and consider the view from the doorway. Room photographs are useful for the design, but they cannot choose the size for your ceiling.
Choose the suspension as well as the shade
For Forest Friends, the shade only option has no pendant cord. The standard complete lamp has a cord of approximately 70 cm, adjustable during installation. The macramé option has a cable wrapped in cotton rope with a fixed length. Ask Marta for its exact hanging drop before ordering.
